PBShop was born in February 2000, when exploratory selling online in the US proved to be a turning point and resulted in an invitation to become the first UK based marketplace seller on Amazon.com. Our customer base has changed but our core values are stronger than ever and we pride ourselves on being the UK’s first fully virtual wholesaler supplying books around the world. In 2019 we became an Employee Owned Trust (EOT) and our entrepreneurial spirit runs through the core of the business.

Named for the house in Daphne du Maurier’s novel ‘Rebecca’, Manderley Press finds forgotten or out-of-print books that were deeply inspired by a building, city or landmark, and brings those lost publications back to life for a contemporary audience. The books all feature a specially commissioned introduction and cover, with both the author and the artist chosen for their connections to the places at the heart of each title. Cover artwork is also available to purchase, as signed giclée art prints.
